Why did you choose our e-learning courses?
It’s very difficult for me to travel to on-site courses due to where I live and work. I’ve used High Speed Training before to update and refresh myself on First Aid and now on Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety for Catering. The safety of my customers and staff is paramount.
What specific problem or need were you trying to address by taking our training?
I felt that rules and regulations change often and wanted to keep up to date with them. Also, it’s a good reminder of basic things you may have forgotten. Our priority is to maintain customer and staff safety be it with food hygiene or other dangers.
How did our training stand out from other options you considered?
It’s first class, I was able to take my time and go back to totally understand each chapter and what I was being taught. The course is not only educational but very interesting. I was able to start my course at 5am without interruption, something I couldn’t do if attending in person, meaning I could apply my full concentration.
How was the learning process for you and your staff?
Very informative and made easy to understand and follow especially with each section being put into categories and context. The free posters supplied have made it easy for my staff to follow and understand how things should be done, we have them displayed in both the kitchen and cafe area.
How straightforward was it to get started?
Very straight forward I simply viewed the courses on offer then selected the one that suited my business. I will in future be taking other courses to refresh my knowledge.
What specific outcomes have you achieved as a result of using our training?
My kitchen is much less cluttered and my understanding of food safety is much greater than before. I’m more conscious of cross-contamination. The posters are a constant reminder of how the kitchen is to be maintained and managed by all that work within it.
Can you give an example of any awards, metrics or data to support your results?
None at the moment, I’ve requested a visit from the local authorities for a hygiene inspection. I’m hopeful this will take place in the very near future and I’m also confident we’ll get a five star rating!
How effective and engaging have you and your employees found the training?
Very, I’m more confident in what I do daily and feel I’ve learnt a lot about food safety and allergies, my staff are too. They are now able to offer advice on our food products with confidence we also now keep more detailed records of ingredients.
Are there any specific features or aspects of the training that you and your employees particularly liked?
The fact you can easily go back and re-study the previous chapters and there are no time limits in completing the course, which I’m sure you don’t get when sitting in a room with several other people! Everybody learns at different paces.
Overall, would you recommend High Speed Training to others?
Being able to take your time throughout the course makes the information more easy to absorb. I would highly recommend High Speed Training online courses. The knowledge you gain is really important and beneficial to all concerned. I won’t hesitate in taking another course in the near future.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
I think that the choice of courses are great whether to help you within your business or just gain knowledge in your everyday life.
