What are cyber security and information security? Why is cyber security important? Who is at risk? Employee responsibilities and internal and external threats to security.

Module 2: Types of Cyber Attacks

Phishing and spear phishing, malware (viruses, worms and Trojans), ransomware, and identity theft.

Module 3: How to Improve Your Cyber Security

Sharing information, password security, e-mail and social media, firewalls and antivirus software, organisational measures, and reporting security breaches.


The online assessment is taken on completion of the training material. You will be asked 15 multiple choice questions with a pass mark of 80%. The answers are marked automatically so you will instantly know whether you have passed. If you don't pass don't worry! You can take the test as many times as you need with no extra charge.
